¿What is RedVUCE?

The Inter-American Network of International Trade Single Windows (RedVUCE) is a regional forum for dialogue and cooperation integrated by governmental, public and private organizations. They are responsible for the design, development and administration of electronic trade single windows for countries in the Americas. RedVUCE was established in October 2011 in Washington, DC, by those countries.

RedVUCE seeks to strengthen coordination, cooperation and partnership between the international trade single windows in the region and other relevant stakeholders, in order to promote interoperability through electronic windows to facilitate and control trade, and to optimize and reduce the time and costs associated with transactions of export, import and transit of goods according to standards, recommendations and good practices suggested by international organizations, including the World Trade Organization (WTO), the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT). RedVUCE is open to all countries in the hemisphere that wish to join and subscribe to its principles and objectives. Similarly, countries and institutions wishing to participate as observers are also welcome.
